Where can I ship by bike to for the ride?
Ship to:
Adams Ave Bikes
Attn: WEODWF Ride
2602 Adams Ave
San Diego CA 92116
Write "Attn WEODWF Ride" on the both sides of the bikes.
The shop will do a deal to unpack and build, and re-pack at the end of the ride for $100.00 - this saves about $50.00.
For timeline, I would suggest working backwards to make sure arrival by the Wednesday before the ride. Adams Ave Bikes can deliver to registration so the is there when
you guys arrive.
Email the names so that we can tracking your bike.
What are the sleeping
accommodations planned for Saturday night, if any, and in what city will we be
expected to be staying?
The group leaves by tour bus on Friday and stays in Culver City the first night
and Irvine the 2nd night. Hyatt Hotel is a sponsor.
What type of support, if any, will be provided by the ride organizers I.e. food, drink, bicycle/flat repair, toilets, etc?
Fully supported ride. There will be SAG vans approximately every 20-30 miles that will provide snacks, drinks, and flat repair. The route is planned carefully to allow for stops that provide restroom facilities. The Emergency/Mechanic's van is available no matter where you are on the course, they will find you. We prefer that everyone have a safety and bike fitting prior to the ride. Adams Avenue Bicycles does a wonderful job and is a sponsor.
How many riders do you expect will be participating?
We hope to have 90 riders and as many virtual riders this year.
